American Cancer Society Cattle Baron's Ball

Cobo Hall, 1 Washington Blvd, Detroit, MI

The American Cancer Society Cattle Baron’s Ball is back… dust off your boots, don your best denim and join us for an incredible evening of celebration and inspiration! The annual boot scootin’, western-themed gala returns to Cobo Center for its 15th year in Detroit on Saturday, September 23. Standing strong with the Society, this year’s celebration features presenting sponsor Ford Motor Company and Honorary Chair Joy Falotico, Chairman & CEO, Ford Motor Credit Company, and Group Vice President, Ford Motor Company. Over 800 of Detroit’s top executives and community leaders will meet at one of the most entertaining, imaginative and rewarding events of the year to rub elbows while supporting the fight against cancer – the nation’s #1 public health concern. Guests will envision a cancer-free world while enjoying cowboy cuisine from the area’s best chefs and finest restaurants, exceptional live and silent auctions, western fun and boot-scootin’ entertainment, and dancing. Today 1 in 3 women and 1 in 2 men will get cancer in their lifetimes. More than 24,000 metro Detroiters will be diagnosed with cancer this year. Through the support of generous companies and individuals, the Cattle Baron’s Ball provides funding for much needed cancer research, education, advocacy, and patient and caregiver services. Since the Ball’s debut, more than $15.1 million has been raised in support of the American Cancer Society’s aggressive mission to save lives, celebrate lives, and lead the fight for a world without cancer.
